Sarah Harding leaves boyfriend Tom Crane at home to party with Mamma Mia! heart-throb Dominic Cooper

He's an upcoming Hollywood heart-throb after starring in blockbuster Mamma Mia!, while she is a pop star from a manufactured pop group. But last night, Dominic Cooper and Sarah Harding appeared to have plenty to talk about on a boozy night out in London. The unlikely friends were spotted in high spirits leaving the Groucho Club at 2.30am this morning after a star-studded night at the private members club.

Starting the night off at a cinema, Sarah showed off her svelte figure in a black shirt and oversized belt, but wisely covered up with a coat later on as the cool night temperatures set in.The 27-year-old blonde was obviously finding Dominic entertaining company and frequently collapsed into fits of giggles as they left the venue. But the night took a down turn when a crazed fan tried to grab Sarah as she got into her chauffeur-driven car.The pop star looked shaken after the unknown man took her by the arm and shoved her out of the way.

While at first glance it may seem Sarah and Dominic have little in common, both have become regulars in the tabloids due to their rocky love lives. Before settling down with boyfriend Tom Crane 18 months ago, Sarah was romantically linked to several celebrity males including Steven Dorff and Calum Best.Dominic, 30, also hit the headlines last year when it was revealed he had an affair with his Mamma Mia! co-star Amanda Seyfried, which prompted the end of his 12 year relationship with Joanna Carolan.Perhaps Sarah wanted to ask Dominic acting advice after previously expressing a desire to become an actress.Last year she starred in independent film Bad Day and recently filmed a role in BBC drama Freefall. She recently expressed a desire to play Ronnie Wood's estranged wife Jo in a movie of her life.Sarah said: 'Jo is amazing. She's my new favorite person. She's had such an extraordinary life. It's fascinating. Her stories are unbelievable. They'd make a wicked film.'Along with Sarah and Dominic, a host of stars crowded into the Groucho last night, where Rocky Horror Show creator Richard O'Brien was celebrating his 67th birthday. In his typical flamboyant fashion, the birthday boy left the venue in a black fur coat, animal-print loafers and long blonde wig. Also in attendance was supermodel Kate Moss, retail tycoon Sir Philip Green and his daugther Chloe, comedian Noel Fielding and actor Keith Allen.
